Verizon is working HARD to get people to upgrade into Unlimited plans, FYI.

I was already on that plan, with a 4 year old iPhone and 2 year old Samsung...

They gave me $800 for my S10+ and $700 for my wife's iPhone 8 (4 damn years old)...

This promo is new this month and I don't know when it will end. It is double what they did a few months ago.

I'd love to switch from AT&T, but Verizon sucks just as bad where I live. (Full disclosure - I live somewhat in the sticks in Missouri, near Ft. Leonard Wood, so everyone other than possibly US Cellular sucks, and even they're not 'great' - just better than the others.)

But yeah, AT&T did a deal like that last year - $800 trade-in value on my iPhone 11, so I have a monthly payment of....

    A dollar. LOL Seriously.

Sorta off topic, but I saw your LEO badge. Do you know what your patrol car MDTs use? I have a client who is struggling with Verizon. They used to be solid, but have been plagued with microcell issues around town for the past 2 years. AT&T FirstNet is pushing hard for their business, but I haven't had first hand experience with them before.

I have (well, second-hand - I work with a bunch of people who use it). It's not that great itself. There's literally no difference (at least, where I live) between regular AT&T service and FirstNet. Your mileage may vary, of course.
