Yeah, mine wasn't the most pleased. But I don't spend money often, so she was pretty cool about. Figured I was in for it after wheels, tires, and suspension in a month :crapstorm:

Give it time, I'll test it in a lil mud lol.
I got them off Amazon I think. Check in my build thread, I believe I linked them in there.
I agree, I wasnt too big on the 3d style ones that a lot of people liked. I've been happy with these lying flat and not collecting dirt along the edges or "shelf" I feel the thick ones provide. Kinda same reason I debadged the truck

Thanks man. Yea, I kinda had to. Every time I would wipe them with one of my microfiber cloths, they would take pieces of fuzz off and get caught....mostly under the edge of the "frayed flag" area. I have some other ones that don't have as many corners and all like this did that I'm gonna put on that were given to me. If those have too much of thr same issue, I may end up going with thr magnet style ones so I can take them off and clean under them without issues

I have the same one on mine as well. Had it on my 08 too. It started to come loose so I converted it to an in channel visor and didn't have any issue with it. When I installed the one on my 17, I made it an in channel one from the beginning.

Did you end up using the MC Auto sensor cover or the other one you bought? Any issues? I’m on the fence with the MC Auto grill. The adaptive cruise is my favorite feature, so I don’t want to go with their grill and sensor cover if it’s gonna cause issues.

Honestly I’m not sure. They looked exactly the same and I had put them in the same box before install. No issues thus far though.

Awesome! That’s what I want to hear. The sensor is just a piece of glass or something right?

If you meant the cover that goes on the grille that is in front of the sensor it is plastic.

Ah, got it. I thought I read that it was glass somewhere. The fact that Toyota charges $300 for that plastic piece is insane.
