Hey yall just trying to pick your brain.
Two weeks ago I went and ran some trials in my 18 platinum and in the process I ruined my alternator with mud. It took me 4 days to replace the alt. working on it after work. The battery was unhooked for those 4 days. After I finally replaced the alt. and hooked everything back up my front passenger window quit working from the master switch on the driver's control BUT did work at the passenger control. Two days ago (6/12) the passenger control quit working so I tried to save money and troubleshoot the problem myself. I narrowed the problem down to the resistor in the passenger control, it is a 5.7k ohm resistor (ref. attached pic). When I put my meter on both sides to check continuity I get nothing, making me believe that the resistor is bad. in the process of narrowing down the resistor I was checking voltage at the master control switch and like a dumbass didn't make sure that my meter was grounded at the right spot, in turn probably shorting something out thus making my airbag malfunction warning light and my tire pressure warning light turn on. I checked all fuses and none of them are blown so I am worried I may have ruined something within the computer?? If I could get some ideas to look at before I take the truck in and spend more money than I would like it would be much appreciated.

TLDR; Resistor is blown but in tracking down problem I created another, making my airbag and tire pressure warning light come on. How can I fix it?

UPDATE: OK so I broke down and took it to Toyota, after having the battery unhooked for so long and then hooking the battery back up the computer needed to be reconfigured as some of the components had "went to sleep?".
