Has anyone painted their stock TRD rims in any color other than black? If yes, post your pictures!

Curious too. I want to powder coat mine. Gun metal would look nice.

Just used 220 to scuff them up really well. Then used self etching primer for good adhesion.

They’re holding up great. I off-road often with them. It’s the 2K clear. It’s tough stuff. I painted them last year in July.

There's a guy in my neighborhood with these wheels on his 100 series cruiser, and they're powder coated in a light bronze - I'll try to snap a pic next time he's parked on the street. They look pretty awesome

Do you remember which "model" of Charcoal Duplicolor you used? The only charcoal I see on their website is a textured paint.

    Dude,
You change wheels more often than me...and I've changed a lot! :)
Nice job and looks great...following your lead.

Can you post a close-up picture?

What will people think/say if I install TRD wheels on my Tundra that's not a TRD by title.

Do it! Plenty of people rocking Pro wheels while not a Pro. I got Raptor lights and it’s not a Raptor. Do what you want.

Almost everyone on this website does modifications to their truck making them different from the stock model they purchased. Have fun and make it your own!
