    Hey ladies and gents,

I always have had limo or some cool chrome window film on my vehicles.

I recently bought a tow rig specifically for towing and family hauling. I think i am going to choose not to limo it, truth is it makes it difficult to find a campground at 0300 hours. It makes it difficult to scan my mirrors when towing or when switching lanes. Ok yada yada, please
    Tell me a good
    Alternative to window tint for
    My tow rig.

also i see like the reflective chrome style shades overlanders use to cover their camper windows,
Is that material regular windshield shade cut to fit specific windows? Thanks!

Do lighter tint but make sure it’s ceramic. Ceramic actually blocks UV and heat. Old metallic films did nothing but block light. It did nothing to block UV or reduce heat passage.

    This!

I have 20% ceramic all the way around with clear ceramic on the front windshield. Which is legal here in California. I ran the 20% ceramic for five years before finally adding the clear ceramic to the front. It made such a difference on the front window.

Pretty much nailed it there. Any lighter or different % tint is just a tradeoff.
