Found this inside the center console of the truck. Hadn't paid any attention to it till I was going through some stuff I threw in there. Does that mean I have it and don't have to buy it As I was looking into anything possible to get better fuel economy...11.5 mpg is killing me lol1430754106814-755327409.jpg

That only helps to make the speedometer accurate to counter the larger wheels and tires. (I have 35x12.50x20s. My speedometer is 5mph off, but I know it is so I don't bother calibrating it. I like to check it when i drive by those police radar trailers they place on the sides of the road to let you know the speed limit changed on that road or something.)
They may have left it on the truck or not. You can Google the device and get a picture of it. Then you can look at your truck to see if it is on there. My guess is module may be there and the programmer for it is not there....

If I keep my heavy foot off the gas, I get 15MPG, which I'm satisfied with and that is strictly around town, no hgwy driving. Haven't been on the hgwy's yet but my neighbor with the same truck. 5.7L gets around 19MPG on the turnpikes.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Only way to know is to pull apart the dash and see. You are looking for this:[IMG]

There is a usb cord that plugs between this and your computer. If you have it you should recalibrate to the tire size you have now, just in case its not updated.

Here is the link to my build that shows the dash pulled apart and the unit installed. https://www.tundras.com/threads/csuvipers-rock-warrior-build.50/page-7

Wow 15 and 19 MPG?!?! I must be doing something wrong. I average 11 on a good day! If I get 200 miles to a tank of gas I must have been going down hill a lot! Hahah

well i filed a claim right away with allstate, good thing i just added uninsured motorist so it was only $250 deductible. wanted to fix it ASAP so the wife wouldnt know so it completely flew my mind on the tow mirrors. Anyways, the damn mirrors have to be ordered so its gonna take a day or two to get it fixed i guess ill use that time to check out some tow

Exactly what @csuviper said. I had that on my last Tundra, and will be installing it on this one too.

It'll help with the over-sized tires for accurate speedometer measuring / MPG readings.

Check the computer plug-in port on the lower left panel. There should be a plug around there, or zip tied if they left it there. You don't need to pull off the dash to see it....

Well, I bought the 2015 SR5 w/5.7L 4WD in January and top it off every week. Initially, I was getting 13mpg for the first few months, then 14 and currently 15.4. Hell, I was happy with the 13. I've just learned to not got on it big time unless necessary, and get to 5th and 6th gear asap. Also, going up a grade I kind of ease off the gas to keep it from down-shifting. This thing down-shifts with the slightest touch of the gas, as I'm sure you're aware.
