Bulge Confusion

I was going to order an MGM hood bulge from McGeorge Toyota, what I think is part number: 76180-0C030-B1. However, upon ordering they contacted me and said based on my VIN that they could not ensure proper fitment and I need to order 76180-0C020 which comes unpainted.

Any chance they are mistaken? Anyone have any success ordering MGM paint matched instead of having a local shop paint it?

You can order it pre-painted from other places like Sparks. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as long as it’s for 2014 and up. The grilles will be different because of the TSS on the newer models, but the bulge should be the same.

I must’ve gotten lucky because I just received a super white bulge and grille three months ago from Sparks. Maybe it’s just some colors

Maybe try this one, someone mentioned they were a little cheaper than Sparks and looking through a few of their items recently it was a little cheaper. I have not used them yet but will try them out next time. I saved the link

Looking good! I’m thinking you need some headlights with black bezels. I ended up finding a used set of TRD pro headlights with black bezels. Not a lighting upgrade just an appearance upgrade. I tend to like chrome bumpers but I think the MGM color will look good matched.
