Ran through some salt lakes while our shooting on the weekend so pressure cleaned the undercarriage the following day but not the engine bay just around the wheel arches and chassis/running gear now the engine light has come on and it’s running rough. Took it to the local mechanic who put the auto logic computer and it’s giving a cylinder 3 misfire code. Any ideas on if this is coincidence or water related as there is no evidence of water on any coils or engine parts in the engine bay?

One easy thing you could do is just swap coils and plugs - move #3 to another good cylinder and see if the problem stays on #3 or moves with the coil/plug.

 You could just start with a coil swap before swapping plugs and see if that does anything.

My 2017 was misfiring on cylinder 4 and turns out the spark plug was loose. I could turn it with my hand.
