Have you guys seen the series Rock the Park? A couple of months ago I came across it and man what motivation to see all the national parks in the USA. The two guys in the show go to different parks in the US plus countries like Canada and go out in adventures such as hikes, rock climbing, kayaking, etc. The big thing they say is "If we can do it so can you."
    https://youtu.be/w3mZEl9-vM8

My wife and two sons love watching the series and were going to start Rocking the park. Don't get me wrong I've been to some parks but this show is definitely a boost. I also got some national park passport books to use on our adventures and my boys will have them for life to use with their own kids some day.

The small passport book is for the kids and big one is for wife and myself. Can't wait to get stamps and stickers. This summer the family is heading back to my home state and hitting up Rocky Mountain National Park and Dinosaur.

This is pretty fun. Back when my son was barely 1, I had to go to Idaho for work, so we all went and stopped by Yellowstone while we were up there. Started our National Park passport, he's 9 now. I want to take a long road trip to see my sister in New Hampshire and see how many we can knock off the list. We don't have as many as I would like, though we have some cool ones like St. Louis Gateway to the West Arch, USS Midway, Dinosaur, Arches, Canyonlands and Yellowstone now twice. It's fun to see the beauty from different parks.

The timed entry permit did help with the crowds.

Seen lots of moose through out the park. I was about 30 feet from this gal.

On top of sugarloaf mountain after taking the Switzerland trail. Old memories of my stopping grounds.

I watch the show. It can be cheesy at times but it’s fun. Being in Houston, it’s hard for me to get to National Parks since they are so far away. But I like a challenge!!! My son and I have been to 40 of the 62 National Parks and probably just as many monuments/historic sites/etc. We’ve seen some amazing things and it’s been a great bonding experience. It’s like our own Rock the Park journey...but with an iPhone.

Yeah their saying "If we can do it, so can you" is chezzy but the videos that they post are good for inspiration.

We just got back from Yellowstone NP, Teton NP and Craters of the Moon NM.

Our first time there and they were simply amazing. No other words to describe it. We had none of the crowds that are normally there. I stopped and asked one of the Rangers and he said now is the best time to go. The Parks are at 25% foot traffic because international travel is shut down. No tour buses or anything to crowd the roads. So fortunate we were able to make it out there. Beautiful land in the raw.

Staying outside the north side of Yellowstone and for a rental they gave me a 2021 4 runner and I was happy from a upgrade from a Ford escape.

Denali np has a road lottery every year, if you win a pass your you're allowed to drive to the end of the park road,in your personal vehicle. Approximately 100 miles in, and 100 miles out. Normally you'd have to ride a tour bus. Outstanding views, (Google wonder lake, Denali np), if you're lucky enough to go on a clear day that is the money shot you'll get to see!
unfortunately, we haven't gotten to go on a clear enough day for that.
But we have gotten to the end a couple different years and seen some amazing wildlife! Here's a couple pics we got a few years ago. Sorry about the qualityKIMG0617.jpg KIMG0616.jpg
