My 2005 DC has a small interior bulb near the emergency parking brake that comes on with all the interior lights, however I think that there should be a similar bulb under the dash on the passenger side. I clued into this after watching a YouTube video. Do your trucks have a such a light on the passenger side or was the video likely showing a retrofitted light?

I'm almost positive mine does not. You could easily add one in by tapping into the wires right before the driver's light socket, then run additional wire to a socket on the passenger's side that uses the same size bulb. Then comes the question of mounting the socket. Another option is wiring into the door light but those don't have the timed shutoff.

Yep, just a solo lamp near the parking brake, nothing on the passenger side on my '03 and that's what I've read here from others as well. It's one feature that Toyota is decades behind Detroit on. Bright courtesy lights on each side were a (optional) thing back in the 70s.

A Google search cannot beat the usefulness of this forum. I appreciate the responses which are helping me to learn all aspects of my truck.
