Is there a mod for newer SR5 models that allows a keyed remote to lower 1 or more windows before getting into the truck? My 2011 4runner had this, just hold down “unlock” for 5 seconds and all windows would roll down. This is really handy on hot summer days.

Yes, this is what I’m after. Use key to lower window(s) before opening any doors. Thank you.

Does the video omit footage of running the red power wire from the door to the battery? Where does the red wire go?

Something a lot dont know is at least on the Platinum you can turn the key in the key hole to unlock and hold it and the windows go down. Unfortunately no way to roll them down with the remote which I could do on my 2006 Jetta, Toyota is weird with the things they don't include.

I’m able to roll down the windows with the remote on my wife’s 2019 Highlander. I don’t remember the sequence but I think I had to turn the option on with Carista or Techstream. Might be something to check @Joe333x

I have Techstream and there is no option unfortunately. Its wierd considering they give you the option to do it with the key in the door but not the remote. I never even use it since it takes too long and I can just get in and start it and open the windows faster plus I have a remote start also.

Ah, gotcha. That’s weird that there’s such a difference in features across the lines.

Yeah it doesn't really show it in the video but you connect the red fused wire directly to your battery it needs a power source that is always on for the remote feature to work.
