I didn't open the link but my phone says that's 107 mph. My Tundra used to be able to do that no problem!

If my quick math is right he was riding the governor which is around 107-108mph. At least on my 2010 it is.

Thanks, everyone, for the conversion to Freedom Units. I wasn’t following along at first.

It doesn't sound as fast when you convert it from communist units to freedom units. My dirtbike can go 173 kilometers an hour. :stirthepot:

The border is wide open. The idiot happens to be from my town. No I don't know him. :D Sounds about right for some of the geniuses here in GP though usually they do stupid shit in 3/4 and 1 ton diesels.

I'll tell my parents in law not to cancel their trip to Radium, then.

They should be fine, depending on the policy of where they're staying. Some places aren't accepting reservations from outside the province or outside their health region. I'd call to be sure. That said, my parents are driving from Abbotsford to deal with family stuff in Dawson Creek in a couple weeks, then coming to visit here in GP.

It must have been on a straight stretch. 9.9/10 vehicles with red-lettered plates can’t take a corner without first coming to a complete stop. :D:boink::p

I can't get past 150km/h after regear, I guess that's one way to argue with the police if that ever happens.

LOL. Reminds me of the time I ended up in an informal convoy with 2 BC plated trucks heading down through the North Thompson River Valley. 3 of us doing 15 - 20 over the limit, taking turns being the bird dog. I pulled into the Petro-Can just outside Kamloops and the guy behind me did too. He walked over, looked at my red plate and said "You aren't originally from AB are you?"..."Nope, born and raised in BC."...."I can tell. You know how to take a corner." :D

You know "freedom" units were invented by the British and codified after you split from them? Just sayin...

Metric was invented by the French. They needed easier math so they decided to base it on 10.

That's fair. I still have to convert miles per hour into cheeseburgers per bald eagle before I fully grasp the extent, though.

like wtf is a “quart” anyway? Not only does it sound stupid, its a a completely made up unit of volume.
Oh wait, its a quarter of a gallon or 2 pints, that definantly clears things up.

Imperial was the brit bartenders way shorting you the extra swig off a "pint" so they didn't have to give you the full half-liter.

    US/Imperial Pint: 473ml
    Real 'Pint': 500ml

A broken clock is right twice a day and the french got a few things right... lol.

All of my Canada buds seem to talk a lot about potholes and broken windshields.
Probably should stick to gravel roads.:D
Apparently, asphalt and concrete can’t handle the great northern tundra.
    Pun intended.
