Yeah you could mask everything off really well and do something like Raptor liner. AutoZone has it.

May as well just do the bedliner now if you eventually plan on doing it :)

Yeah, I am wavering. Prices have really shot up here in SoCal. $795 for Line-x premium.

Tell me about it. I am in SoCal too. I think thats about the same cost as if the dealer did it, but Line X is probably better quality. Good thing is its something you only do once and will outlast the truck in all likelyhood. Any plans on a cap or tonneau cover at some point?

The topper would definitly cover that front rail as well as further increase the life of the liner, just saying.

True, but with a cap, would I need a spray in liner?

Are you trying to fill the gap between the cab and the bed? That’s what the image looks like. Not sure how spray liner will help if so.

If not, you have me thinking now how I can fill that gap. It’s a PITA to clean leaves out of there in the fall...

I am a fan of the spray in liner because what if you need to take the cap off to carry something big? It would scratch up your bed. And the liner makes it so stuff wont fly around back there as well. I imagine it would insulate the truck some if you sleep back there but i am just speculating on that.

Not fill the gap just put a cap in the top rail.

Google adhesive truck bed rail, I bought some in 1993 to protect the truck before installing a cap. It was thick black semi ridged stuff. Think I got it from jc Whitney.
