I have an issue with a mouse or mice. There was evidence inside the cab as well as the engine bay. I believe I've been able to deter them for the time being however I am working on blocking their access into the cab.

Is the only access into the cab from the openings under the wiper cowl? I hope so! I would appreciate anyone's knowledge regarding this matter.

I'm working on removing the wiper cowl and screening those openings. Also trying to block the access to under the wiper cowl as best as possible. But if there is or are other ways of entering the cab, I'm going to loose it.

I have gotten some advise from others here but would like to confirm access points into the cab. Once again, appreciate your advise. Thank you.

Check the flappy things(air pressure reliefs) on the rear of the cab. Those might not be as easy as the cowl to get to

Best I can tell, is that near the seat belt attachment?

I guess I can't get that image to appear. It's a photo of a mouse on the inside of my wheel. Sort of like you see at a pet store, a mouse on a tread wheel.;)
I probably have 10 different glue traps out, 4 Victor wooden mouse traps baited with peanut butter sprinkled with bird seeds. Maybe the peppermint spray is working. My last sighting was on 5/27/2021.

    Too many, but not enough....
soak some cottonballs or a rag with peppermint oil and place in the engine bay

 Maybe, and I say Maybe that's why I haven't had any luck with sightings or catches. I have two locations there with a bunch of cotton balls stuffed soaked in peppermint oil and spray the engine bay with a diluted mixture also. I've got steel wool that's rusting, soon to be replaced with Chore Boy copper scrubbers, stuffed in those gaps at the hood hinges that lead into the wiper cowl. The cabin air filter has been removed and the glove box is open and filled with glue traps and finally my driver floor mat is a mine field of glue traps.:)
Tomcat bait chunks are lined throughout the nearby area too.

Man I hope I'm rid of it (them). I appreciate you offering your idea though. We've been having lots of rain lately here in Texas and that may be a contributing factor. My preventative measures will have to be somewhat reenact next winter. Thanks.

No problem. My mom had issues with rats chewing through her distributer wiring some years back. In general, i would advise to not put baited traps near or around your truck. Reason being is that it would likely attract wildlife that you may have otherwise possibly avoided. Thats why im a fan of the peppermint oil.

That is a valid point about the bait locations that did briefly cross my mind. I'm going to relocated them a little further away. Thank you.
