    Hey all,
Let’s just say that I had wanted a Tacoma all my life. So why am I on a tundra forum? Because the more I looked into Tacomas I realized a couple of things about myself:
    - I have two growing kids who are already growing out of what I would’ve gotten,
    - I’m not cool enough (or think I am at least) to pull off that fancy Gen3 tacos,
    - and I’m a classic guy at heart that just wants to enjoy a simple truck.

so after scouring the web I found myself a 2006 DC Tundra, phantom gray, and already on the way to becoming the truck of my dreams:
    - Bilstein 5100, lifted 2”
    - Nitto Grapplers G2
    - 17” wheels
    - Sony head unit
    - JBA muffler
    - Dura liner

I joined this community to learn more about how to take care of my buddy and get ideas on how to spend more money on it.

    current plan:
    - install subwoofer and speakers
    - install rock sliders for protection and steps
    - figure out how best to transport multiple bikes and paddle boards
    - what to always keep in a truck

    here’s to the next chapter!

looking forward to chatting with you all.
