Hey guys quick question. Does anyone know if it's safe to unplug the airbag sensor on the front doors without disconnecting the battery? Doing my sound mat and was curious about that plug so I Google it and came back as a airbag sensor. Thanks

Not aware of sensors on the doors. I know about the ones under the front seats, but I think in general as long as you disconnect the positive battery cable you can disconnect it most things. Just be sure to connect it before connecting cable to battery though.

The Yellow plug located towards the bottom of the door (look at the pic below) is the one I'm talking about. I looked up the part number and that's what came up.

Might as well take 2 extra min to unhook the battery. Some have had issues with airbags my messing around and not unhooking the battery.

You wont hurt anything or deploy a component.
You will have to clear the SRS code if you boot the car up.
As soon as you start the truck it will go thru a SRS self test and confirm operation.
Asian cars generally wont code if you don’t power them up.

Appreciate the help guys. Just want to finally cover the last door lol. I did the passenger without disconnecting it. I really don't think me going lower with the mat will make that big of a difference.
