If rubber is good, might make sense because other makes could use, but how much do you spend on each one getting it taken off?

Thanks but I'm looking for 18s or 17s I can mount winter tires on.

I got my rims from 4 wheel parts. Can order online or in person if there's a store nearby. Tons of choices, IIRC there were multiple pages of 18's and 20's. I paid around 1100 for alloys, no reason to go steelies for that price.

Looks like their Canadian site doesn't have any 18x8 wheels with 5x150 bolt pattern?

I guess I can't figure out how to navigate their site then because all the 5x150s I see are 17x8.5.

You’re right - I only see 17” too. I was sure I had both 17 and 18” in my cart there to compare prices earlier this year.

Maybe COVID has them out of stock on a bunch of stuff right now?

18x8's are extremely rare, not sure if I've ever found any, most are 18x9. Same size as I bought and the stock 275/65/18 michelins fit nice on them

I ordered all the parts for my trans cooler install from Sparks Toyota. Shipping is a little pricey but there was zero duty and just a $10 brokerage charge from Fedex.

I think my brother's 2019 GM has 18x8s but they're a 6x139 bolt pattern. I came to the conclusion that wheels are hard to find because every other pickup has 6 (or 8) lug nuts.

I ordered new windshield wiper arm assemblies for my wife's Corolla from them and the duty was so high, it would have been more economic to just buy from a local dealer. But I don't know of a way to predict how much duty you're going to get nailed with.

    I think it's a pretty standard request.

Definitely not a strange request or one I feel violates any privacy issues etc.

I keep a copy of mine on my phone, as I've been asked for it a few times when looking up parts and prices.

Yep, pretty normal to ensure part fitment. Kinda tough to argue a privacy thing when anybody can look in the bottom left corner of your windshield and read the VIN.
