Any one of you guys have a problem when someone calls you and you talk to them less thn a min and thn your car bluetooth drops the phone call? I tried updating the software from toyotas website https://www.toyota.com/firmware-updates/updates. But it says there are no updates for my tundra? is there any other way that I could get the update?

We have 2014 Highlander Limited and Tundra Limited and both have had issues over the years...we’ve gone back to the dealer several times to have the head unit software updated...also, the Highlander has a nasty echo when on the phone and isn’t usable.

If your phone has installed updates you may need to delete it from the truck and re-pair everything. Not sure why it helps but when my phone has installed software, IOS, security updates sometimes things will then act all funky or not work properly when I pair it with the Tundra. Deleting it from the truck and then adding it back has made everything work as designed. May or many not help with your situation but I would try it and see.

As far as updates, you can check the firmware version of the truck to see if it is current. And the dealer can always update it if there is an update out there available.

My problem started when I got the new iphone. I did the deleting and reinstalling my phone. That only helped for like two days and it went back to dropping my phone calls again. Do you know any of the other websites that I can use to get the software update?

It helped for a while and then comes back...not sure why...we’ve had several generations of iPhones over the years and it keeps on giving.

I am convinced the entune JBL system universally sucks. Not to mention I cant read the screen in my truck during the daytime...any sunlight on the screen and it washes out. FAIL.

When I'm streaming audio, the entune system will occasionally skip songs in rapid succession—pretty annoying stuff.
