    That bronze looks really good!

What paint color did you use? I may end up asking my local powder coat guy to do the same to my set.

I mean... the forged ones are better wheels. Sell those stockers you powder coated and powder coat the bbs wheels if you want bronze wheels. That’s the smart move.

Re-read this line you wrote in your original post “it’s only money, and we only live once”….. then read it again, and again, and again.

The correct answer is to have the BBS wheels powder coated that gorgeous bronze!

Best of both worlds and you’ll be kicking yourself every time you look at your truck. Take your own advice, don’t cheap out on what makes you happy.

As others have said, those turned out great. I may be stealing your idea and doing the same for my 1794MGM. I want to get rid of the chrome wheels for SCS matte bronze Ray 10’s. However, who knows when they’ll be back in stock, and wheels like yours would be a great 2nd option.

Powdercoater said it was triple bronze. It took a while to come in since it came from a distributor in Oregon.

I wish I could do that but I would have to go the paint route, forged wheels can't be powdercoated since the heating process would compromise the integrity of the wheel. Trust me, I would if I could.

Yep, I 100% agree with you but see above response on powdercoat. I have too much money invested in Pro BBS wheels for them to get messed up in paint. My solution is scoring some Heritage edition Pro BBS wheels, that would be the best of both worlds.

I am in the process of sanding them down to apply an adhesive promoter, then color match paint,, and seal with clear coat. I haven't decided what color to paint the Toyota logo yet, it is currently chrome. Trying to decide between TRD red or 040 super white.

I can't wait to see your finished project. I love the looks of the white Heritage LC's with the bronze wheels. On the Tundra, it should look very nice and certainly breaking from the traditional black wheels on a white truck. Be bold, be different and enjoy your truck.
