Added some aux reverse lights the other day. Cheap and Easy mod that makes it so much better at night. Attached the lights on the hitch at factory holes. They tuck up in the bumper well but still light up behind you very well. We will see how long they last but managed to snag these for $14. At that price, it doesn't matter if they don't last 5 years. They are bright enough to light up the area without washing out the camera view.

Figured this might be useful information for a few folks out there as well. Below are my stock and lifted measurements after the LRO 3/1 kit. All measurements are on level concrete, full tank of gas, and nobody in truck. upload_2017-4-19_12-25-38.jpg

I didn't realize that Michelin put out junk tires. I've owned many sets and liked them all.

Thanks, they really help out. Right now they are tied into the reverse lights only. I bought a 3-way switch this weekend to make them so I can control them anyway I like, but haven't gotten it installed yet.

Well my first flat was at 350 miles. Hadn't even taken the plastic off of the floormats at this point. About a week after that, these things got me hung up in my cabins yard. Qualifier, yes it was wet, not muddy, just wet. Literally just would not grab any traction. Lets not even talk about the fact that they are 4 ply. In no way do these michelins begin to compare to the other big name all terrains out there. Just my $0.02 on the matter. I will burn these off as quick as possible (Can't really sell for a decent price since they already have a patch) and get a tire I know I can depend on.

Yep, OEM. Really don't like the look of running boards, but for what its worth, they do make it easier to get in and out of, especially with kids. Plus they were black originally. If they were chrome, they would be gone.

    Nice page.

How do you like the toytec/Eibach compared to the LRO? I came from the LRO also.

Are you still running stock shocks out back? If you are you should upgrade to longer shocks. My ride got much better when I put shocks after I was driving around w stock shocks w my shackle lift.

Well I knew where I was headed considering I had eibachs on my tacoma, but the ride definitely improved. There is also that sense of reliability that switching over to coilovers gives. I liked the way the LRO looked, but always had it in the back of my mind that it was over stressing the stock suspension. Now I know that it can handle the offroading that I do, which is nothing hardcore, but the peace of mind is there. I will say that with the LRO I had trouble getting my camber in spec, and truthfully still do, but its not as bad as it seemed to be with the old lift. I am waiting until after the holidays, then new UCA's are the plan. Is it bad that I am not in a hurry hoping that the tires will wear unevenly so I have a good excuse to change to some duratracs??

Yeah, I am. And I have been on the fence about changing them; you might have just fully tipped me over. I have heard that the rears really do change the perceived ride. What shocks did you go to?

Wierd you can’t get aligned. I ran the LRO on stock arms for a year and alignment was spot on. Try a different shop. Care to share your sheet!

I went with the regular toytec boss without reservoir. It’s so much smoother than shock shocks but I feel they are a little on the soft side. I got them for a good deal so couldn’t pass it out. If I had to buy again I’d look for something a little stiffer as I feel it doesn’t match my radflos well. Maybe a fox or King shock I see in the future... but
