I did an oil change today also, upgraded to the Toyota aluminum housing and WAS going to install a mishimoto magnetic drain plug.

the drain plug would only thread in about 1.5-2 turns and stop. Like it was the wrong thread pitch. My original would easily thread all the way in. Tried a few times but didn’t want to cross thread anything so I put the original back on with a new washer.

I have a fear (after getting oil changes at drive through places for a couple years) that my threads are crossed and only mate with the exiting plug. Even though the threads looked clean on the plug

Torqued all the suspension bolts and Spidertrax bolts after 100+/- miles.
Removed my front mud flaps and hopefully took care of the rub that started after the lift install.
Swapped out the fog light bulbs for LEDs.

ordered some 35's KO2s....It had to be 18"s, E load and snowflake rated. Only the KO2s meet the criterias.

Finally got around to building my version on the TRD intake on a budget. I will say that the air seems a lot less confused as to what direction it is supposed to flow. Not much for gains as expected but the slight whistle I had from the K&N drop in filter went away completely. It was replaced with a sort of growl at the 3500-4000 rpm range. I really like the new sound and breaking necks at the dead stop takeoff. 0951A0E3-8F91-4D54-BF95-45F43149A58B.jpg71A2CD73-2C4E-40DB-8C08-4D57D6075B90.jpgD09A8E8B-0B34-4096-BA2F-3BC1DFAEB46D.jpg

Finished polishing my headlights. Driver side looks brand new, passenger side had a little internal crackle, so its not quite as good, but still way better. The 3 beers per headlight that the guy at O'Rielly told me was fairly accurate. Used the 3M heavy duty headlight restoration kit.

Did some long awaited mods: Bilstein 1.9, SCS Ray10, Ko2 275/70/18 and KG Platinum Tundra running boards. Changed the truck completely! Pretty happy with the outcome.

all debadged is nice but I like the 5.7L badges only on. All debadged except the 5.7L. That's what I ended up doing.

Ended up not liking how the plasti-dip turned out on the chrome. May attempt doing a wrap next time.
Nice thing with the dip is it's easy to remove.

Got me some Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs in 275/70R18. Used set with only 6k miles for a pretty good price.

Going to get Bilstein 6112 & 5160 in the 1.9” setting as well (if they ever get back in stock).

Prob just going to mount on stock rims (I know, booorrrrinnngggg).

    Not yet mounted
