Bumper spacers vs chopping for wheel clearance. Which is better?

I added bumper spacers to avoid chopping away. If I ever sell her it won’t be an issue if I go back to stock. BP are cheap enough too

@snappy924 You added them yourself or went to a shop?

You can get the Coachbuilder spacers and install them yourself by doing 1 side at a time. What size wheels and tires are you trying to fit?

A local shop installed them when I went with a 285 tire last month.

Don't chop when you can space it out. Spacer are expensive, people used stacks of washers to save $, I used these nuts from home depot. Less expensive than doing the washers, but gave same amount of clearance. Loosed up one side of the bumper 4 bts, took off the 4 bolts on the other side, had a friend hold the bumper and slid the nuts over the bolts then pushed bumper back on and do the other side. Year and half, no issues, can't even tell from the side either

My goal is to get the wheels to poke out w/o any rubbing issues. Live in a condo, so my garage isn’t that so i can’t lift any higher

Stock wheels and tires? Stock wheels are 60mm so you could run Spidertrax wheel spacers and shouldn't need bumper shims.

@Allen.Tee I just used nuts, I posted a pic on the ones I used above. Alot of people use washers, but the nuts give same amount of space with less parts. Worked perfectly
