My 2016 Tundra has the sunroof and when open the wind deflector retracts to a lower position if you drive faster than 50mph and then extends once you drop below that speed. Don't open it much with the cold weather right now but when I did over the weekend I kept hearing an electric motor once in a while.

My wife thought the same thing. Said I was hearing the cars next to us since she couldn't hear anything.

Seems dumb and in hindsight makes complete sense, but I noticed when I pushed the window lock button, the lights on the switches turned off

    Stock for now!!!
I test drove a platinum before I bought mine and when the I turned off the truck the power mirrors folded on their own. The one I bought a 2014 (same year as one I test drove) I have to push a button to get them to fold

I tried this today. Yes, it lowered a little when I got above 50 mph, but waited till I was below 40 mph for it to raise back up. Good engineering, keeps it from tripping back up and down if you're riding right near 50 mph.

I'm glad mine don't, the easy exit with the driver seat and steering while moving made me nuts. I had the dealer turn it off. I was surprised when I found out my 2016 Platinum had power fold mirrors, I never had to fold the mirrors on my previous 2012 & 14 Tundras. I did however have them on the 2016 Ram 3500 CC DRW I just got rid of, those large dumbo ear towing mirrors stuck way out there. I had to fold them in just to pull it into a car wash.

Insert key into door lock, turn and hold to unlock doors and the sunroof opens, also closes when locking.

I thought it was because they can't jump in. Don't know why you would have 'em in there in the first place. :smack:

I think the air deflector height is only speed dependent.

By engaging your parking brake, then turning on the truck- your parking lights won’t come on when you start the truck. Blackout mode :transformer:
