Catalytic Converter Theft protection

im not sure if this topic has been covered?
but looking for options to protect my Tundras catalytic converter .
I just saw some info on the cat clamp, just wanted to see what other products are out there

This is the small town in me, but I never knew this was such a problem. Is it the metal inside? I mean some people don’t mind buying a stolen radio, but who goes to the black market for catalytic converters? Why not mufflers too?

 

The platinum in the converters brings a pretty penny for a few. Huge issue in some areas.

Up to $120 per. Good money for some people.

Trucks like the Tundra are even easier, no jack required. Sawzaw and they are gone in under a minute.

 

That makes more sense than trying to resell them, like I was wondering.

Pretty sure the system has an alarm of it's own.

 

Ordered front and rear Valhalla Shields today. He said about 3 week lead time. Figured I'd be proactive about it.
