Winjet Tail Lights, TRD Intake, Magnaflo exhaust, Morimoto Head/Fog Lights, Upgraded LED's interior/exterior, Chrome delete interior, plati-dipped grill and hood bulge grill....hopefully many more to come
Do they do perforated so the heated/cooled seats still work?

After some great advice by @AzureNightmare I looked at the Desert Does It bracket, and then my "frugality" came out of me. Decided to run to Lowe's and get a piece of flat bar, some bolts, washers, and nuts, and a can of Rustoleum black, and made my own bracket. $17 all-in. Definitely secure now...

You can get a heat gun for $18 at Harbor Freight and use it on low to loosen the badges or stickers. This can leave a little more adhesive to clean up with Goo Gone but it definitely helps the process.

I found you can get your hand back there with a small (3"?) Screwdriver and loosen the screws to adjust.

Would the heat from the cats cook it, melt it, or start it on fire?

Not trying to be the buzz kill, but i'm sure the sound of a metal saw sawing off your cats makes about the same amount of sound as this alarm, if not more.

I think you're referring to the memory system that adjusts seat, mirrors, and steering wheel. The memory option is included in the Platinum and 1794 trim.

They used a chain pipe cutter on my Tacoma. Not a sound was made. Probably took them under a minute to cut it off?

I’ve debadged quite a few trucks now and my first time I had no knowledge. It’s very simple and easy to not harm the paint just take your time.

You’re gonna want one of these
to make it a hell of a lot easier:

3M Stripe Off Wheel Adhesive Remover Eraser Wheel Removes Decals, Stripes, Vinyl, Tapes and Graphics 4” diameter x 5/8” thick 3/8-16 threaded mandrel 07498 Pack of 1

And here is a great video explaining the steps to take. The only things I do different than in this videos is always using a hair dryer instead of a heat gun so you don’t risk over heating your paint. Additionally tying your floss or fishing line to keychain rings on either side to help with leverage. Lastly I use a little turtlewax scratch remover at the end if you need to get any last bit of ghosting off if the adhesive remover didn’t get everything, then finish of with a little spray wax.

I'm looking to install a 3/2 Readylift on my truck. I'm not a mechanic but I'm not bad at doing mods here and there. I installed the rear sway bar myself and I've watched videos on the Readylift install and it looks advanced for me but I think is something I can do. It'll save me close to $400 by installing it myself.

Anyone have any insights or comments on installing a spacer lift with the standard jack that came with the truck, jack stands and a good set of hand tools (torque wrench, socket wrenches, breaker bar, etc)? Anyone wish they had taken it to a shop to have their lift installed?

I plan on it take a couple of days but I'm not in a hurry so I'll take my time. Or I could bite the bullet and take it to a shop. I just also worry they'll cut corners and not do as good a job as I'd do.

You are better off to go visit Harbor Freight and pick up some jack stands and a decent 2 ton jack to put your rig up on. The jack that comes with it is an 'emergency' jack and not something I would want to rely on climbing under.
Make sure to read through the instructions or watch the videos to make sure you have all the right tools too. You can definitely do it yourself. Just make sure to tighten everything to the recommended torque when applicable.

Not to start a debate but I'd go with a 3 ton jack and 4 ton jack stands. The Tundy weighs more than 4000 pounds curb weight. Worth the extra few bucks for safety.

I agree with both of you... I'd invest in the heavier duty items but was trying to save him some cash if he didn't need to go all in and was being budget conscious.

I have jack stands. I think they are 3 ton but I'm not completely sure.
I don't have a floor jack but was thinking I can use the jack it came with long enough to get the jack stands positioned.

I wouldn't dare climbing under the truck with the OEM jack holding things up.

Ok, just making sure. I hate those little tiny cranks that come with it. Dunno if you can get away with an impact drill and a 1/2" driver adapter to make it work. I like that i can pump 10 times and the truck is in the air vs twist, twist, twist, twist, twist, * 1000

I don't have a tonneau but this could be an option. Work box I picked up at Lowe's. Cut off the feet, painted with bed liner and bolted to bed. It has two recessed padlock boxes on each side. 20210316_112908.jpg
