Took the family to Great Wolf Lodge Scottsdale the last couple days and last night some low life bastard stole both of my cats. Started it up and it sounded like shit. Took it straight to the dealer. Got a police report as well. People suck!!! Definitely getting some plates welded around the new ones once I get the truck back. I advice the rest of you to consider some protection as well.

Yes I filed a claim. Toyota dealer said parts are over two weeks out. And Toyota’ won’t release new ones unless you have a complete police report etc. luckily I have all that so we will see how long it takes.

The dealer I went to said that they had some get stolen off of a couple of their new trucks right off the dealer lot.

Does the lodge have security cameras? The fools that stole your cats have no doubt done it there before. Ask the lodge manager if anything like this has happened before and was brought to his/her attention. Record the answer....just sayin

I did talk to them and they took down my information but they Don’t have cameras that far out in the lot. It’s a relatively tight parking lot. So I parked further out with all the other pickup trucks and unfortunately this is what happened. The lodge folks said it has happened a few times. I wrote a google review to hopefully warn others.

It's more than 2 weeks. Some are being told up to 4 months. I would order Tyler's plates now while you are waiting for parts.

Sorry this happened to you. Insurance will cover. Maybe you can convince insurance to cover new cat plates? They may not know cat plates exist. They just might want to know and give you a break $ wise if you get the plates. Just throwing ideas out there!

Yep...because when they cut them, they also cut the wiring to the 02 sensors. It would trigger warning lights and most likely run like total crap.

I saw your post on AZTG. I was there a couple weeks ago and purposely parked close to the lobby entrance since I was paranoid as hell something like this could happen. Didn’t sleep well the whole time we were there either.

I text a friend to see if he’d be willing to fab up some plates for me. If he can’t, I’ll be ordering one of the other options out there ASAP. This is getting stupid.

Son-of-a-bitch. I also live in the valley and figured us here in AZ were not being hit so I keep blowing off getting plates and buying other stuff. Thanks for posting cause it will force me to get off my arse on this. Can't really enjoy new mods on a truck if you can't drive it. Hopefully they OD on the meth they just bought.
