I want to make this a poster and hang it by my water heater or something. Just so I see it every once in a while to remember don't be a lazy/worthless/slob.

200 series? Just lock the center diff.

The key to have it work is have the transfer-case stuck at a 50/50 split.

Go figure. No time to drop the shaft today though because life happens. I guess I’ll drop it at work tomorrow and drive it home and see how she feels

Awe crap really. When I checked for a new one, they were $250.

edit, just so I’m clear about what I’m thinking... I’ll change the clock spring from my broken steering column with the messed up one on the “new” steering column. Wouldn’t that be the same as replacing with a new clock spring?...

If you haven’t had the recall done, the passenger side can. The driver side do not have this issue

I thought the recall was because they wouldn’t deploy. Case in point, my parts truck. Driver bag deployed and passenger didn’t.

There’s so many airbag recalls that MIGHT be the case. But we can’t deploy these to dispose of them so I’m guessing shrapnel

The other day I came home from work and was just completely beat. It had definitely been one of those weeks. I’m sitting on the couch enjoying a beverage and I hear the wife, “Honeeeeyy!”

I can’t even remember what it was that I had to fix but I remember asking her, “how does anyone, that’s not near as handy as myself, afford to own a house?”

Im not saying that I’m Al Borland or anything, but I have plenty of friends that don’t even know where their water meter is. I remember giving one of my buddies an old rechargeable drill and he asked me where he should store it because he literally had zero tools.

It’s funny you say that. I find the use of that key a good deterrent to shut people up by intentionally turning it off in front of them. :D

I tried telling my wife that and she reminded me of all the things I haven't gotten to yet. It's not what you do well, it's what you haven't done, that counts.

If they aren't up by 10am... They should have gotten a Subaru.

I relative of mine picked this beauty to hold solar panels at his cabin. I was trying to get the sign working, but had no luck. It's either fried or I wasn't programming it correctly. Pretty cool though. Every time I wished I could change the message on one of these by the highway all flashed through my mind as I was messing with it.

They’re lucky my abrasive saw is under the weather; old blade wore out, and carbide tipped was a no go(I’m a boob and thought I could use it on my 3900rpm saw) but a portaband made short work of what needed to be done.
BUT....... I do have 60’ of 1x2sq that needs to be descaled in the morning:)
    Got it free!!!!

That towel bar wizardry literally made me lol. I’ve seen some similar masterpieces and always try to imagine the hero brushing off their hands, lookin at what they did, and actually saying to themselves, “yeah that’ll do”, then “HUN.. I FIXED IT...” I mean, scotch tape?? And thumb tacks?? On a towel bar?? Ah man.. thanx for sharing that

Anyone know how to take the top cover of the steering column off and back on? The shifter plastic seems like it’s melted onto the cover...

The cover color is a little off from my interior color or else I’d leave it on.

Im going to hunt one of these pipes down... i think it can be used for the tundra exhaust im planning.. i like the gains mustang guys are getting with it... seems like the 4.7 could benefit too. (specifically if i decide to boost it...)
