.22 rimfire cans can be a pain to clean and if you shoot a can on yours, you've probably tried every kind of snake oil there is to make it better. They all work with varying degrees of success.
I stole this from another board and so far its fantastic. I wiped the baffles down with my finger and used a light coat on all except the first two where I went a little heavy. After 500 rounds they all wiped completely clean with a shop towel and very little effort.
I know this is worthless without pics but I was so excited that I forgot.
I have an integral M&P 15-22 that I will take before and after pics and post them up at some point.

Can be had at the parts store or Amazon

This is for suppressor baffles, not actions. Just so you know and congratulations

I have a 9mm can that I shoot rimfire out of. I wonder if this grease would hold up to 9mm rounds as well.

I have been using an ultrasonic cleaner to clean my baffles. Although I have read that only stainless steel baffles should be cleaned that way.

Yeh the ultrasonic creates pock marks on the surface of Aluminum.

On my Obsidian 9 the baffles are steel and it works great. But I'm gonna give this grease a try next time I clean it.
