What do you guys use to share photos with family? Instead of texting photos to several people individually, I want to be able to put all of them somewhere and then send a link to their phones where they can view them. Thanks.

Google Drive? (As long as they can get their email on their phones.)

Google Drive here. Works pretty well, minus the evil empire part.

Check the build link in my signature.
    I’ve used:
    Google drive
    OneDrive
    Icloud photos

all work, depends on what most of them have for devices.

Google photos is where it is at.

Organized by date, easy to make albums, easy sharing individual pictures and whole albums, and anyone can contribute photos to the album. Best part is the automatic backup to the cloud (leverages Google drive). We converted my whole family to using it, even the iPhone users.

We got my mom a Google Home Hub a couple years ago to use as a photo frame. I have an album shared with her that automatically adds pics I take of my kid, that way I don’t have to constantly send her new ones every few months. I know there’s a debate on the creepy factor of using Google’s facial recognition, but there are way worse things to worry about in life. It works well for our use case.

We have the Hub in our kitchen, it's a pretty cool deal for pictures.

Google Photos is pretty easy to use for sharing.

I am looking at Google photos. I can create an album and share the link. Can the person that views it add to the album, and does it notify everyone that the album is shared with that someone in the group posted a new photo?

You can definitely have others add photos to the shared album. When you create the album it'll ask if you want others to be able to add to it. You can add them later through the options.

You can set a notification for new added photos in the options also.

You can also add people to the recognition and it will automatically add new pictures of the members as they're taken.

My kids and niece use Google drive. They seem to like it. It sends an email like this one.
