    Hi all-
True to search the forum but didn’t see exactly what I was looking for. I have a 2020 Limited and bought a set of TRD off road wheels and tires. The wheels didn’t have TPMS and I need to add in sensors.

My question is do I have to use the 42607-0c091 or is the 42607-0c080 the correct one?

    Thanks!

just go to spartsparts, they have a chat function and can give you confirmation on the correct part in 2 minutes.

0C091. I can tell you that it is a royal pain in the ass to register them to the truck and then get the pressures to read. I am still having issues with mine.

The pressures read on my aftermarket head unit, but not on the instrument display. :notsure:

I bought TMPS sensors from Tire Rack.com for my 20 Platinum. I programmed them with an Autel programmer I bought from Amazon. Takes about 5 minutes, there are a few You Tube videos that goes step by step.

Are you not able to use the TPMS out of your Limited wheels? I think those should work in the Off Road wheels no problem, and then you don't need to worry about reprogramming anything. The only ones that don't swap are factory steels to any of the alloy ones.

Why replace them? Just another expensive convenience that people honestly don't need as long as you have a tire pressure gauge. I have the TPMS sensors removed in all of my vehicles once I buy my first set of new tires. I could care less about the warning light on the dash.

Well that is just bizarre, not sure how to approach that behavior as I'm running stock head unit. Maybe entire truck reset. For me on my 2018, just pressed the tpms reset button 3 X and drove for 10 minutes and all sensors checked in :/ YMMV.

I removed mine too, put them in a 3 inch piece of ABS tubing with a valve installed on one cap and glued it shut. Aired it up to 35lbs and threw it behind my rear seat, no more lights.

I would have but I sold the wheels about a week after I swapped them. At the time I swapped, I had put about 100 miles on the new wheels and thought I was ok, but then about a week later after I sold the Limited wheels they weren’t reading anymore. I thought after that much time and miles added if there were an issue it would have occurred so I didn’t swap the tpms from the factory rims.
