Next Mod: Weenie horn delete: Added the Hornblaster! Musket in lieu of one of the OEMs. MUCH deeper than the OEM. The 2nd OEM is still installed and in use for now. Can't decide if I'm going to keep it wired or shell out another $70 for a second HB Musket. Below are some before and after pics. Tried and failed at uploading .wavs and .mp4s.

How are you liking the screen so far? How hard was the install? Thinking about pulling the trigger on this. It's a little cheaper than the larger Tesla-style screens. Would love to hear how it's functioning for you. What keeps me from going this route is all of the reviews about these being buggy.

Did you end up tinting the rear lights with vivid tint yourself or did you take it somewhere? What level tint? Looks really good. Not too dark, not too light.

Still lovin' the HU! No regrets. It was buggy at first, and I did spend a lot of time w/ Dasaita/Iris working the bugs out, but now I am past all that, and grateful for the time Iris put in, so I am now just enjoying the HU. Only gripe is that I lost my auto rear cam. It's still there but I have to turn it on and luckily I have a quick access button on the main screen. BTW, Iris DID send me a new mother board that I have yet to install. Finally got the vehicle all buttoned up and I hate to pull it all out again. But, that's on me. I highly recommend the purchase!

I tinted the 1st round by myself and it was HARD! I botched a bunch, bought it again, and had the guy who tinted my driver windows install a new role for 50 bucks. Here's the link to what I purchased.

Some new upgrades. Got the VLAND projector LED headlights and some decals for the rear windows. The ACANII headlight lenses were so checked again that they had to go.

Good looking tires...I've got the 20inch TSS rims and have been thinking of going with 33s. Been thinking either Goodyear Wrangler, fallen at3w, but now I need to look at the Grabbers more closely..

The Grabbers are great. Zero complaints. Tracks real well and handles the turns like the stock tires did. Oh and looks way better than stock. Little pricey but I think they all are the more rubber you add, right?!

    Great facelift!

Do you have a link to the black door handles and mirror covers? The ones I'm finding on Amazon are gloss black. Thanks!

Those headlights are awesome! I See they have two options, I really like the ones you chose. One of mine just started to fog/condensate on the inside so I'm just starting to look around now. How are you liking them so far?

Here's a link to the handles and mirror covers. The handles are no longer in stock but Amazon should be able to guide you to alternatives. I honestly don't like the handles. They are plastic, a bit cheaply made, so they don't feel as sturdy as the stock, chrome ones. I will likely look into replacing them w/ stock matte black or spraying the stock ones matte black. BTW, the covers are plastic and cheaply made; however, I don' touch them so they look good while doing their job.

Yeah, I really like the headlights - glad I went something different than the OEM 18+s and what some other manufacturers are using; Dodge and I think Jeep. I really have no complaints with them except that they don't have a washer mount and they aren't as bright as the kick-ass Hikari's I had in my last set of assemblies. These will work tho. Way better than original stock regarding brightness and looks. I recommend them.

Thanks to @Beau for hooking me up with this bling for my steering wheel. I really like it for a lot of reasons, but one thing that bothers me a bit about it is that it sticks out too far from the surface of the air bag cover. I may take it off and try to round-over the edge a bit to soften the transition.

Here's an update to the January 2020 install of my Dasaita HU: My 2.5 year old Dasaita PX6 HU screen will no longer come on. This is different than than anything I've dealt with before with this HU. I still get sound via FM and thumb drive, but without a pic I can't choose from any apps. For a couple months, the black screen seemed to cycle every few days but now it won't come on anymore.

    20230706_065624.jpg 20230706_151942.jpg

I tried to get some assistance on the Dasaita Forums page, and while I was given some things to try when the screen did come on, none of them helped. I've been trying to get Dasaita to give me a good discount on a new HU, but the most they will give is 8%. They sent me a link to a new G12 model that is Qualcomm 665 w/ QLED screen (link below). I'll probably go for that one w/ the 8% discount but I'd really like to purchase from Amazon where you can get a 3 year extended warranty thru Asurion (link below). Luckily I did that originally so I got my $549 back in the form on an Amazon gift card - another reason I'd like to purchase from Amazon. FYI, you can purchase an extended warranty from the Asurion website, and it will cover merchandise from many stores, however, of course, Dasaita isn't one of them. So, if you want your Dasaita covered you have to get it from Amazon on the day you purchase the HU.

Well, it's been a bittersweet day, to say the least. My baby has been sold, but to another enthusiast. Take care of her, Nick and remember that she likes it rough!
