Tundras live: Agree to disagree (a lesson in civility)

Just came by to see what’s hot this afternoon. Visited the New Posts and just saw a bunch of “Nope; don’t cares”.

Kind of like my Monday at work. Checked out the meeting calendar and saw the entire day was full of “Nope; don’t care…”

Where is da beer…

 

So it snowed today... kinda.

 

I’ve done crickets, grasshoppers, ants, and mealworms. Dried and tossed in oil and seasoning they don’t taste or really “feel” any different than pork rinds

 

Same here. Just enough to cover the TSS sensor and make my road a mud milkshake.

 

Snow in May. Nuts.

Well now I want to try them even more. The grasshoppers and mealworms are the only ones that trigger any kind of gross reaction, but not enough I wouldn't try them.

Wyoming can snow any day of the year. The only month I haven't personally witnessed snow in, is August. I think it did that one of the couple times I was out of state for a few months.

If the craziness were to mellow out, I wouldn't mind seeing Seattle again. My sister used to live there and visited once when I was a kid. Loved the rain. Went and saw the salmon steps with HUGE salmon, ate at Ivor's (only fish and chips I ever enjoyed) and tried my first Mongolian Grille on that trip.

I lived 25 miles north of SLC when that tornado hit!

Ivar’s is a local fav, but in the grand scheme of things it is marginal food at best. The local seafood scene is amazing.

 

Toby's Tavern in Coupeville. The best seafood and meh beer on Whidbey Island.

 

Oh, I'm sure there's better. It was just the first fish I ever tried that didn't make me gag. Though the gulls are really loud there.

 

30 minutes left in my 7th and final shift for the week.

Hi, Everybody.

Just enjoyed a nice lunch from a local deli.
Burnt ends and pieces, mac and cheese, and potatoes and gravy.
Nothing as grand or spectacular as some stuff I see other members cooking up, but it was really tastey.
