Newbie from So Ca here, been searching the threads most of the day and appreciate all the info... cannot seem to find much info on anyone installing start x remote starter tho. Having an issue with it on my 2020.4CD60DA9-5695-4AD0-9725-9FBD51B9B59C.jpg

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I remember seeing a couple of things about Toyota, and specifically the Tundra start circuit that takes special care when installing 3rd party remote starts. I don't remember the details but it was on this forum within the past month or so.

It states that for 2020+ you need to splice one wire but I can’t find out which wire needs to be spliced. When I remote start the truck I can’t use the clicker to unlock it, have to unlock it with the key.

What issues are you having? I installed one on a 2018 it was basically plug and play besides one wire I believe. The starter works great and it’s lasted me this whole time customer service though is probably nonexistent let me know what questions you have and I’ll try to help you

It states I just need to splice one wire for 2020+ . I can’t find any info anywhere as to which specific wire needs to be spliced. It works great, only issue is that once remote started I can no longer use the unlock button on my key fob. Also cannot turn off the truck if I decide not to leave. Once remote started my remote is essentially dead.

You need to cut the TPMS wire, had to do it on my kit from Accessorides. Locate the 36-PIN white plug at the ECU module in the drivers dash to the left of the 30-pin BCM connector plugged in earlier. Find the RED or PINK wire in pin 35 of the 36 pin connector. Cut this wire giving yourself room to reconnect to both ends

    What did you discover.
Just installed the same remote start and everything works but the instructions are not specific on the bcm bypass regarding the pin 35 splice
