I like those wheels, had them on the Ram and liked the way it looked, what kinda flares are those? how much wider are they?

 

They’re stock OEM Tundra flares. They’re about an inch out on both sides. Edge of the tread is perfectly flush with the edge of the flare

 

I assume you had to have the oem flares painted?

 

Yeah I bought them for $50 from a guy that had a white truck. Had them painted for $250

 

Truck looks amazing.

bceez!!!!! I love this. I searched, searched, and searched everywhere for a LR ARE top before I ordered my Z series. It's been on order now since I bought the truck. Can't wait for it to arrive! Nice work.

Just a heads up if anyone is looking.There is a 2021 double cab trd pro in lunar rock available @Walser Bloomington Toyota.The stock number is Stock #3BC516N.I am not sure if there is a mark up

Yeah I did. I had called on this truck before, but it was "sold". Apparently the owner backed out because they changed their mind on color (obviously has no taste!) so last night I got a call. Couldn't be more excited.

Thanks guys. Now making plans to drive it back from Minnesota to Oregon. We'll have some time to get acquainted. Hoping my brother can fly out to drive back with me (he has an '11 Tundra) to share the driving load. We don't get to see each other that often anymore, so I'm looking forward to the 25 hour trip.

 

You're making me feel like a bum for having mine shipped up from a location 2.5hrs south of me lol

 

i asked about shipping but apparently it would cost multiple arms and legs to ship right now…because COVID or something. Decided to make an adventure out of it instead.

 

Interesting. Mine did not have far to travel, but it was only a little bit more for me to ship it to my house than it was to rent a car oneway. Driving would be a much cooler bonding experience with both your brother and your new truck though!

I drove 300 miles one way in a "premium" GMC Terrain rental with a 2 year old female, a 5 year old male... and a wife.

Edit: ...and I took "side streets" on the way back so I could properly brake it in.

 

Haha yup. It was very much not the original plan. It was supposed to be a whole weekend of fun but then work and life decided to not let that happen.

 

Congrats on the new ride. I had to drive 6 miles for mine. You're in for a nice comfortable ride.

 

Shell looks great. Perfect color match.
