BBS TRD PRO Wheels, Which Years?

Hickory NC, 2hrs from me. Bashfab found them on Facebook and got me the contact. I don’t have Facebook and apparently more tundra parts on there than CL.

Yep, I'm thinking that these "suffix" characters are what describe the color/finish, akin to the way they are with interior parts. There's a base number and the suffix defines sand/grey/black, and the same for painted parts. Now that I'm thinking about it more, it's that way for chrome/gold/black emblems/badges too.

 

I just love they’re hammered (not actually hammered but in my mind yea they are) out in Japan at this point kinda blows my mind people trade them for a cast China rim for looks??? Well my truck is gonna be more samurai I guess.

 

Install day tomorrow, opted to paint the center caps krylon satin (custom Japanese color)
And don’t be concerned my yard doesn’t always look like this. Note wheel in front yard to show my neighbor!

Anyone have the version that says TRD? I’m looking for a single wheel if someone has one available to sell.

 

FN BFD is a 18" wheel that weighs 23lbs and cost $1199.

All these wheels look awesome! I just ordered four of the 34200 TRD BBS wheels from my local dealership. Tried on OfferUp but nothing worked out. I have the bronze Toyota center cap. I’ll post pics when mounted. Thanks for all the info.

Not sure what tires I want yet, but I come toy with the wheels everyday.

 

Mine came with the red TRD center cap, but I wanted something more subdued so I ordered a bronze set for the Land Cruiser and painted the TOYOTA metallic silver.

 

I recently picked up a Land Cruiser with the bronze BBS wheels. Thinking about swapping them out for a Black set.

 

love the bronze look but black would look great as well. You buy it new or used?

 

I picked up a new one. I'll have to see if I can find someone nearby to swap bronze for black.

 

Anyone with a 19 or newer Pro with these wheels and stock Michelins have problems with one or more of them not balancing or staying balanced? I have set and one or more is out of balance or something,or its another problem with the truck.

I don't have a pro but I do have these wheels with the Michelins. When I first had them on it was fine but when I had the tires rotated it started shaking over 60 mph. Took it to America's Tire and they said 1 is off balanced. They re balanced it but it feels like there's still slight vibration. I think they didn't clean the wheel before they put the magnets on and some flew off. I already have Ray 10s sitting in the garage just waiting on tires so I'm not too worried about it.

 

Where are you at? I would kill for a bronze set.

Did anyone confirm the TPMS from the trd off road wheels also fits the bbs pro / sport wheels?

I have a set on the way and hoping I can swap sensors right over.

 

I can tell you my sensors from 2021 with 20 inch sport wheels swapped over just fine. Americas Tire advised they would change fittings as necessary. Paid 150 for full swap and mount and balance the tires on the BBS wheels.

 

So I might revive this thread but I got a set of RW wheels that I thought about replacing my BBS’s for. Kinda of on the fence but if someone’s Interested in picking the RW up lmk. I’ll share more pics

Also a set of Alphaequipt echo wheels. Their site doesn’t say much but they’re 6160 T6 when I reached out to them on insta. So p well made and should hold up fine. They cleared the brakes and look really clean. 17x8.5 in +35 offset ~26.5lbs

I put on some RW’s and love them! My BBS’s will be up for sale in NorCal.

 

I have a full set of Toyota stock TRD wheels in black with red caps n stock lugs off my truck 2018 TRD Sport. I went with a wide wheel with crawler tires for rocks on it. These rims are listed under the rim n tire classifieds here. Very light wheel too. The OEM Michelin tires have according to my tire dealer here about 18-20 k miles left on them. Rims very good condition just need cleaning and waxing. They looked great on truck but wanted a different set up for my other tundra.make me a descent offer and Will figure out how to get them up to you if your interested. There not BBS wheels but they are 1000% factory Toyota TRD wheels n oem tires. Thanks
