    Just bought the NSV nightrider light bar durning Black Friday sale. I live in California and plan on installing the light bar this weekend. Anyone living in California get hassled by CHP for having light bar in hood bulge?

    I also have it and had no problems. I was driving in the mountains north of Redding in the mountains with the bar on and passed a CHP on the side of the road and he did t follow me. My guess is as long as your not using it in the city or blinding oncoming traffic you’re probably going to be ok.

    I think so. Only problem is you can’t adjust the angle. It’s more like a distance lighting as opposed to the ground right in front of your truck. A small light bar lower down paired with the nsv would be perfect.

    Just installed the NSV light bar and now my stock daytime running lights don’t seem to work only the NSV running lights. Is this the same on any of the light bars anyone else has installed? The light bar looks great and functions perfectly was wondering if that is controlled by the blue wire they have you cut in the install instructions.

    Knock on wood, no. I have upgraded every single light on my truck and not one hassle, except like I said, my wife every time a package comes to the door. It’s funny the only lights that are an issue is the stock 18 LED headlights, I sometimes get flashed from oncoming traffic.

    This is what i did on my nsv. I attached a custom black plexi cover for it.it has a very strong magnet mount on it. i can always removed it when needed..
