are they designed for shackle to be at 1.5 setting. Or is this over extending my shock? Wanted to double check this. Is on and seems fine.

Plenty run them with 1-1.5 rear lift, no worries.

ok perfect! so drove truck a 100 or so miles now , ride is great and controlled , except on like potholes or certain bumps. Then it reminds me of my 3/4 ton during it. almost jarring. Thinking of moving to 1.9? Would this help alot with the ride. If not much difference i will leave it. Also thought about adding the RCI skid playes. Maybe that add weight and smooth it out.

i run this exact setup and have no complaints so far. a set of quality shackles paired with the 5100s really made the truck feel more "solid" in the rear, especially when going over bumps and bridge spans. Did it stiffen the ride a bit? Absolutely, but I prefer it that way as it also makes the truck more predictable i think. I'm used to lowered sports cars so a stiffer ride doesn't bother me at all.
