Hi everyone! Long time reader, finally joining the community as I take delivery of my new cement CrewMax later this month :)

Coming from a 2020 Honda Ridgeline— bought the Ridgeline January 2020 when I was a father of two and commuting 50 miles each way and parking in a tight garage! Now I’ve got three car seats, no commute and I park my butt in the basement for work! I’ve wanted a Tundra for so long and I’m psyched mine is finally heading my way from Texas as I make this introduction!

kind of strange purchase process as no local dealers had any on the lot, I was able to shave a little off MSRP and had some freebies thrown in, the real shocker was the trade-in value I got on the Ridgeline— I got about 15% more than I anticipated. :) when I was finalizing the deal one of the managers was speculating there’d be no trucks available by mid-summer. Needless to say I’m very happy I bought now.

Nice to formally join in and thank you all for the wonderful forum!

Totally agree! Even though I only had 7,200 miles on mine there were a couple of distinct experiences where I thought “hmm that doesn’t seem right…” or “that was a strange noise” not what you’d expect from a Honda!

Exactly....Honda just has major problems with their own transmissions.
They had to use the ZF 9 speed in the meantime until the current 10 speed was out, which it is now. But it’s looking like the 10 speed might have even more problems

Ridgeline has more Haul Capacity than a Tundra. 3 sacks of groceries now instead of 4. :boink:
