I’m not sure honestly on 2nd gens. Probably. Not going through insurance?

Yeah that's enough damage for me to report it to insurance and that vehicle is too nice to try and patch it together with random parts. Just my .02

I have no idea what mom/pop are doing. I'll find out before committing to plans, but thanks for the feedback. I'll limit to sequioas during search.

He, and I are of the mindset to do these kinds of things ourselves if we can. Myself more so in the waxing days of my life, and him less so in the waning days of his.

We rebuilt my 2006 Malibu Maxx more more once because of deer. I was always the flashlight holder. The tables have turned. Funny how that works in such a short time.

Just to confirm, no one knows of a Speedo calibrator that works in the 05-06 trucks? I. Off by just a couple MPH.. but I’d like it to be more accurate

They've decided to go through insurance.

Good deal. Less I have to deal with.

@empty_lord if I roll that mf I'll let you know first.

    Looks like a bad day!

Not specifically tundra related. I started a thing for the gx the other day. I've been working on fun off road parts at work and designing that stuff always gives me the itch to design and build stuff for me. The real problem is that when we have a new project at work, part of the process is researching and bringing design concepts to the table. The better you research, the quicker you can get to the design, and the more likely you are to not waste your time with redesign.
Long story short, I got the itch and the gx is getting a nifty rack with extrusion on it. Always wanted one on my truck, but I like fitting in the garage and it's tight already. The gx is much shorter.

Are there 3 mounting points in the gx roof gutter? The 4runner has two and the 3rd rests on the roof at the front of the sun roof(Gobi design)

Yeah there are 3 sets. My father in law just did a rack on his 4runner. I think it was the Gobi. Seems nice. Not as much my style, but mostly because I have building racks out of tubing. Takes forever.

That’s because our trucks don’t get speed from the transmission. Speed is summed by the wheel speed sensors in the ABS.

Having your speedo off is really a win/win. You put less miles on your truck and you get to brush up on your math every time you see a cop.

Like the sensors on the front hub that detects to wheel bearing deal?

That’s what I thought, as was the reason for said vice crunching. I just stumbled upon this while lookin for that image I used to show vice crunch orientation. They actually have decent, (non-translated) detailed instructo’s with pics. And vehicle specific. I don’t know man. Pretty convincing....

Cheap ass Amazon knockoff headlight assemblies, and cheap ass leds that were never clocked.

No fogs, no nothing. Rode like a damn boat, and couldn't see like a boat either!

    Mended.

Funny, driving the Tacoma home last night I was thinking the left headlight needs to be raised slightly, then thought I've never had anyone flash me at night - maybe I should.... :anonymous:

On LHD (Left Hand Drive) Vehicles, the driver side assy is always aimed a bit lower. I’ll try to find the Toyota Spec for Aiming later and post it.

I would LOVE that Argosy. i searched for years for a short Class A. Only found one & the floor was soft as a wet sponge - I think only the shag rug was keeping me in the coach. :-( Finally settled on a B+. But since C19, RV prices are through the roof. He'd only be able to afford a 36' coach which they practically give away & then he'd spend $9k in gas crossing the country. Wonder how old that photo is - that Argosy is mint!

Gotta say, seller said something about son having a 'lite' accident & fixing it himself. So everything in the nose is suspect & tends to be loose. Keep saying when I have a chance I'm going to pull apart the nose to replace all 4 lights (sitting on the shelf) & repaint the bumper (sitting on the shelf). So much shelf, so little time, no one in town to be trusted to do the work right. #retirement?
