Yeah. Its not the wearing of the pants that is the important factor here.

That's the way to do it. Or atleast lie about the promotion. Just don't defy a woman that said no, twice in one conversation.

Oh thats worse. Its a trap! Its a trap! run for your life. Until that is you go ahead and actually do what you want a few times. Then that trap mysteriously disappears, usually replaced by another. Its a dance.

    This man speaks sage wisdom.

That said, I'm lucky, my wife supports my latest obsession with my truck.

Good luck, OP. Remember, a happy wife = a happy life.

I bought a shitty spacer lift when I first got my truck with the thought of upgrading later when I could afford it. Then I got the rims and tires to match the lift and have acquired the UCAs and am now looking at new front coilovers this spring! So it is totally doable with patience to slowly quire the parts you want as you can afford them....but now I have 110,000 km's on the truck already haha. But still love it and the lift hasn't been too bad, can't wait for the new coilovers though!

so I spoke with my local Toyota on voiding my warranty if I go with a 6 inch lift. Service manager said since those lifts typically require some cutting and drilling into frame components (i have no idea what get cut or drilled so chime in on that please) they (Toyota) are harder to get coverage on warranty issues that are covered in my 7 year/100,000 mile warranty.

new question... toytec 3 inch lift is the way to go? thoughts on the ICON stage 1? (money won't be a question for lift because this is a prime example of learning the hard way and learning from acting on impulse)

before I even think about buying a new lift, tires are gonna happen real soon (I really like these TRD rims) found a deal on 5 used tired from a dude bro online that went to 35's. he's sending pic's of each tread depth this morning. he said his loss my gain. he said the KO2's have 12/32 tread and no plugs or patches. if this falls thru new KO's are gonna be on order
