I'm not on the level as most of you guys, but when I bought the sub box from James, it's been the best mod on my truck. I am content with my JBL system. (somewhat) Something tells me James is going to get more of my money.

And someone said they could beat his prices on Amazon. I think it's so close that it's a wash - and in that case you might as well order from James since he provides support if needed. For me:
    - Two pairs of speakers: $200
    - Sub: $100
    - Enclosure: $100
    - Amp: $430
    - Misc parts: $100

So that's $930. I paid James $999. Not worth it to shop around when he has great packages and will customize for you if needed.

The best reason to piece it out is you can get the system in smaller less noticeable purchases. For some people that’s the only way to mod. Or it will be the last mod

Funny how the smell in Denmark never changes. At the end of the day it always stinks.

I JUST finished my upgrade last weekend, and went with @james@tech12volts NO REGRETS! These guys are the real deal! Had never done an audio upgrade on my own, but James helped make sure I had all the right components, provided detailed instructions, and was SUPER RESPONSIVE when I had questions. I'd email him, and he'd either text or call me shortly after. When I second guessed myself and wanted to take my truck to a local installer, he texted, emailed, and called me to tell me we'd get through it...and we did.

There's a reason we all rave about Tech12Volts. Stop thinking about it, and talk to James...he'll get you straight.

I recently drove 12ish hours to have James install my new audio system. I am very pleased with the system and more pleased with James. It would be amazing if all companies were as honest, prompt and genuine as him. Tell him what you want and @james@tech12volts will deliver.

That's dedication right there. But OTOH at least you're getting an install from a reputable company. I considered doing the same thing, my drive would have been similar.

James is the best. Hooked me up with a great system and more importantly put up with all of my stupid questions. Guy is top notch. Have not dealt with anybody else but I listened to everybody on this forum and came up happy! Good luck!

I don't have any experience with ********** or tech12volts, I always did my own stuff.

However, I can say I remember tech12volts was making customers happy back in 2009 on TS forums. Back then his stuff was choice and I'm sure it's even better now. I don't think you can go wrong with him.

    Update!

I just got my Tundra back yesterday and it is way better than I even dreamed it would be. James really hooked me up. I expect that I went upper mid tier in components but my Double cab is booming. He hooked me up with Kenwood 9907XR, Helix 8 Channel DSP Amp and Mono amp for the Sub, Helix components for the front (2 6.5", 2 3" and two tweeters with the sail mounts) and 2 6.5" Coax for the rear- all Helix) and a 12" JL Sub and enclosure.

Got the warning about the kids ears from the wife if that tells you anything (but it is a clear loud!).

James knows his stuff. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Happy customer here, too. My 14' Tundra has all doors/4ch amp from James (Hertz) and my TRDPro has a full compliment of subs, doors, amp, and processor, allowing me to keep the head unit. It absolutely pounds, and is crystal (not piercing) clear.

Dude is the real deal, and as normal a human being as anyone I've ever done business with. Anything else I do car audio wise, goes through him. Even if I live 4 states away. He ships quick, and provides everything I need to DIY it.

I have the Tech12 Infinity/ Hertz JBL in my non-jbl 2020 SR5 crewmax. That system is amazing! I was not able to make the drive to have them install...so I'm still dialing in some fine tuning... but right this second it's a joy to drive around and loud enough to really piss off your neighbors.. even though they later admit it sounds Bad ASS!
