Just an update on the fluid, I did a complete drain and refill today with 205A, around 16 qts to get the fluid the same color as the new fluid going in.

I had 41,620 miles on the 204SAT. I've been offroad in heavy mud, towed my 8k camper several thousand miles, and I always have my foot in it. The fluid was only slightly dark, still smelled like new fluid and was still a decent red color . One thing I noticed about the 204SAT is that it shifts a little more firm, you can definitely feel the shifts, whereas with the 205A it shifts much smoother to where you don't feel the shifts. I like the 205A much better, but have no problem running the 204SAT. I have a sample I plan on sending to blackstone. I'm gonna overnight it so the results should be in soon. 20210504_161444.jpg

Thank you for circling back around on this! I am going to be putting a large order in with my rep and was thinking of including 205A in my order for both mine and my buddy’s tundra. Will have to go back through this thread to find the procedure for a full fluid replace using the pinned open cooler lines.

Definitely get 2 buckets for 2 tundras. I believe I paid 238 for a 5 gallon bucket delivered to my door from my rep. And I had to do the same thing and check this thread for the correct procedure.

Sounds good. Thanks for the heads up! We’re going to be getting several buckets of oil, the trans fluid, grease, and some penetro and a few bucket pumps. Only want to have to do a single order for a while so it’s gonna be a big one!

The only thing I dislike about the penetro is the fact that I have to shake the can before use. I usually just reach for the kroil instead, I can't tell much a difference between the two.
