Fyi: For anyone running Coachbuilder shackles the Roadmaster suspension fit just fine and was a breeze to install Love how they don't affect the ride when unloaded unlike Sumo's. Didn't want the added complexity or leak issues with airbags. Didn't want the rattle from a helper leaf spring like I had in my previous Tundra. I also like the easy adjustability to increase/decrease tension without having to remove a wheel. Had 2000lbs in my bed and no more noticeable squat and riding on the highway with that load felt more stable.20210502_115556.jpg 20210501_150518.jpg 20210501_161706.jpg 20210502_115556.jpg 20210501_150518.jpg 20210501_161706.jpg

Rear Sway bolted back up just fine. No interference at all! :) This suspension setup is supposed to act as a rear sway bar. So in hindsight if I had not purchased the sway bar first I would have forgone procuring it until after the suspension upgrade to feel out if I really needed it or not. But they are coexisting peacefully. Just like having double rear sway bars like on my Civic Si

2000 lbs in your bed? In before the payload police.

I'm interested in trying the roadmaster suspension on mine.

The truck looks great.. I have the same color pro and am looking into a suspension mod for bigger tires.. If you don't mind me asking, are those the CB+3 shackles? Also, did you modify any of the front suspension in order to get the tires to fit? Also what size are those tires.. Do they rub at all? I love the look and will most likely do the same to mine.. thanks

Yes this is the Coachbuilder TRD Pro complete kit which includes +3CB shackles along with the Front Coilover Shim Kit and front bumper spacers, carrier bearing drop, bump stop ext, outer tie rods etc... I also replaced the steering rack bushing with upgraded urethane and added the Rear Brake ABS relocation kit as well --> https://shop-coachbuilder.myshopify.com/products/coachbuilder-trd-pro-kit-2015

The results is what you see in the pics with no rub. I did replace the front flaps with larger RokBlokz as the tires stick out a bit so I wanted extra paint protection from my front tires kicking up any road debris.

I have the Roadmaster HD kit, Dobinsons 7 leaf heavy springs, and yellow sumos for bump stops, the axle will probably break before it squats more than 3".

Well folks, I put 2200# in the truck today and was still not touching the Sumo spring bump stops.

You kinda need a Tundra specific kit due to the way it all fits. I suppose some parts are pretty universal but the spacing between the two halves in both directions is critical, length and width.

I think more people are finding out about these, I like mine a lot, how tight did you set the coils?

I got the HD kit, didn't want a whole lot more lift so I didn't let the diff drop completely, just enough that the kit would have a little tension so it wouldn't fall off at full droop. Then I set it up to just see daylight through the coils. If I would have let the diff drop to full droop during installation it would have likely provided close to another inch of lift and since I have about 4" of lift from the Dobinson's HD leaf packs and the mild setting on the RAS kit combined it already works well with the nearly 4" I have upfront. Yes, it doesn't sit level empty, but with #1200 on the ball it is pretty level and the weight distribution hitch is not stressing various components near as much to handle the task of towing safely and comfortably with no fear of an airbag blowing out at 3 a.m. on the Interstate miles from anywhere. Reliable is my goal, that is why I have a somewhat redundant HD suspension overall. If one component ever fails, hopefully it won't be catastrophic.

When I did my install, I didn’t the full drop and did the quarter method. I got a little over 1” of lift. And those coils work. I should have pulled them off the truck before I traded it in. Those things are rock solid and way easier than airbags
