@FirstGenVol made it to the Cessna today. Awesome hike, the uphill killed us flat landers but super cool to see the plane.

    thanks for the info

Good times! Hopefully we can make that a more regular thing. Here’s a few that I grabbed while we were out there.

Wife and I were in Lockhart, Texas yesterday meeting some clients we did some graphic design for. On the way home, we decided to stop by Kruez Market BBQ for a late dinner. It's one of Lockhart's big three BBQ places <https://austin.eater.com/2016/6/16/11954976/lockhart-texas-barbecue-where-to-eat>. They were out of brisket by the time we got there (around 6:30pm) but we got a really good deal on some smoked Prime Rib.

I'm not proud of the cell phone picture quality but the content is pretty good. With the COVID restrictions being lifted our local Cars & Coffee event took place this weekend.
Lots of vintage and new cars alike in attendance.

At the top is a vintage Ford pickup with a hot rodded flathead motor complete with Edelbrock aluminum heads and a dual carb intake.

The fellow that owns the 356 Porsche restores them for a living and has dubbed this one his "Touring Car" as he drives it to Northern Cal a couple of times each year.

At the bottom of the page we have a late 1940s Chevy pickup with a fiberglass Soap Box Derby car nearly ready for competition.

Something for everyone at these events which take place once a month under normal circumstances.
