Yes i will probably go with the oiled and just replace it with a AFE down the road. I was just worried about the maf but it would only be in danger if not oiled properly.

ive just installed the stillen intake also, and the check engine light came on also. cant figure out what i did wrong. watched the videos and follow instructions. I called stillen and they said its probably a vacuum leak. ive double check everything again and dont see how there would be a vacuum leak anywhere. anybody else have this problem??? at this point im ready to just remove and sell it. not worth the damn headache.

I have the STILLEN on my 2015 5.7, I also did the SABM to it as well, also installed the JET MAFS(JET MAFS I would not recommend as it really does nothing) and got a tune from D.A.P. and installed 4:88 gears. Truck runs like a champ now.

    What is the difference between
TP403200 and TP403202 except 47.37? Looks like there is an extra coupler in the 200.

The 3200 includes a extra thing that you can use to block the front intake.

I haven’t heard of anyone having problems with rain or snow getting in the airbox that way, but I’ve seen some members say that they’d use it if they’re off-roading on dirt/sandy roads so they don’t suck up the debris from the vehicle in front of them.

I figured I might use it when I use one of those automated car washes, but I never use those so I got the kit without it.

I got a pre-filter cover that protects it from water and dust from Rough Country that fits the STILLEN filter

Thanks, has anyone put it on a second-gen Sequoia?

Any noticeable power / MPG gains with this intake? CELs?

I don't know if its my butt dyno, the StilIen, the BAMuffler, or Pedal Commander but my Tundra hauls ass. Not too sure about mpg, its still bad but I only drive it on the weekends. :mudding:

I felt like I had a little more “get up and go” and my mpg went from 9.9 to 10.8/10.9 after running it for awhile.

I don’t think any intake will increase fuel efficiency enough to pay for itself in any reasonable amount of time, but if seeing the number go up helps justify it on your end… I say go for it! The Stillen definitely improves the sound with my TRD exhaust at the very least, and although I see it annoys some people, I really dig the whistle sound too.

Normally I don’t think CAI’s give enough performance gains to be worthwhile, but I’m pretty convinced the Stillen had a noticeable effect on the butt dyno.

No codes or anything on my end.

Same. The throttle feels slightly better with the intake. It takes a little less throttle to get up to speed than it did with stock. Passing on the interstate is a bit smoother as well and the truck feels as if it needs to downshift less. I do average about 1 mpg better in the city than I did with the stock. Intake has been on a year now. Zero issues.

Front and back trd sway bars, 14 inch magnaflow dual in dual out exhaust, undercover bedcover, rough country 2 inch leveling coilovers and rear shocks, 285/60/20 nitto ridge grapplers, wireless charger, driver grab handle, tech12volt 10 inch sub and enclosure upgrade , and stillen cold air intake .
I installed a stillen intake a week ago. For those who had problems with the 2 air box bolts, I didn't press in the bolts like the video says. I lined up the box with one hole then slightly pressed in one bushing until i got it started. Then I lined up the second hole with a screwdriver and tightened the first bolt down. Then lined up the second hole by eye and started the second bolt. This seemed much easier. I haven't had any check engine lights. The truck does get moving easier with it. It made up for the extra weight of my bigger tires.
I can't say if it's louder, because my exhaust is very loud. I think it has the same low tone as my magnoflow exhaust.

    Nothing.... yet.
Just finished Installing the intake this afternoon. Screws in box were a PITA like everyone says, but everything else went smooth. I did have to cut the silicone coupler between the throttle body and intake, as well as the larger extension tube coming into the back of the intake (next to the MAFS).

One question, did your engine covers sit on the intake tube, or was there some room between the two? I'm wondering if I might not have the intake rotated enough in the right direction.

I disconnected the battery prior to starting the job, double checked all connections twice before connecting it back, and so far no CEL . Let's hope it stays that way.

Liking it so far. Quiet when it needs to be loud when I want it. And definitely seems more peppy, although jury is out on my butt Dino.

Has anyone that has the aftermarket ATF cooler sold by ’Nichol’s installed on their truck… had problems installing the Stillen with the front air intake shroud placement? Thanks
