I am replacing the radio in my 2015 sequoia and hoping to get some help

I removed the old radio and am not sure if it’s the original stock or an aftermarket but the wiring seems to be quite elaborate

I have attached photos in the Hopes someone can direct me as to how to find the right wiring harness

    thank you

Jbl or non? Being Limited, im guessing jbl equipped?
Has anyone been back there before? It look very messy.
Not sure what the blue and white connector are from your first and 3rd photos.

Here's a photo of my 2017 limited jbl with nav radio's back side.
Notice those wires are still attached? Those stays with the radio. I dont see them on your radio.

Look like someone was in there before. What they did? Who knows? Where does the blue and connector go to? The other end i mean. Is it routed behind the dash somewhere or was it soldered into the factory harness somehow?

    Thank you all so much

there were some added cables that we part of the radio I removed (photo below - the photo with the brown connectors)

Also, I do not know if it is “JBL” I do not see that labeled anywhere

lastly, I have attached a few more photos in case that helps so I can figure out how to wire this thing

I didnt see the jbl logo on your radio. But, can you verify by looking at the door speaker's grill and see if there is anything like, JBL Synthesis? That will tell you if you have jbl system in your truck.

You will need adapter harnesses in order to install that android radio. It wont be as easy as you'd like.
You will also need additional harness to retain steering wheel control, if you want to keep it.

Also the blue were “caps” on the white connectors that they are being held next to (see photo) some of the wires coming out of them go to other connectors but the actual white connector was capped die both of them

Ok. So u have the standard radio, non jbl. Good. For starter, what size is that android radio? For a clean flushed look. You need this fascia.

The standard dash kit wont look right because it is not build for these type of android radio. The screen size and angle is not square.

You need this harness to power the radio up and get sounds to speakers.

Im not to sure about the steering wheel control harness. I cant find one that is simple. The one i found seems complicated. Or overly expensive.

Brandon, this is so helpful, I actually got a new backup camera so I think I can plug that into the video in connector (but I’ll have to check)

as far as the other connectors that’s amazing thank you

if you are able to provide guidance on the steering wheel controls beyond the initial search you did or just give me tips on what to search for I would appreciate it!
    Thank you thank you

I would go to pac-audio website. Plug in your truck info and it will give a list what they have available. There is 1 module that is universal for the steering wheel control. I am not certain how to set that up. You may want to read through their instructions and see if it's something you are willing to take on. But i dont know if that module would work with the android radio. Majority of the time it is build around the mainstream brand like, pioneer, kenwood, alpine..etc.
    https://catalog.pac-audio.com/?fc=m...6&model=Sequoia&year=11128&trim=11326&submit=

Also read through this. Guide to setup the dip switch on the module. This may help.

I wanted to thank everyone who helped me, the stereo is installed and everything works except the backup camera (I bought and installed a new one) including the steering wheel controls thanks to everyone on here helping me!!

    LAST question:

I have the power foe the new backup camera tapped into the wire for the reverse light but it’s not working I have checked all the connections

can you all confirm which wire is correct?

    there are two:

    white/black

    and

    red/blue

I peeled back the outer insulation and just tapped right into the red/blue and it says no signal on the radio

I have the other end of the backup camera cord connected to the “back” labeled wire on the radio and the “video in” connected

    any help is much appreciated

Which location did you tap the power for the camera? Behind the dash or at the taillight themselves?

Can you meter the reverse wires at the tail light to confirm which is positive and negative?
Engage the ebrake. Turn key to positive 2 without starting the truck. Shift to Reverse and meter the wires..that way u can confirm u have them connected correctly.
