Bumper Covers

Are the 2020 and 2021 Bumpers not the same? Found this EBAY listing (sketchy due to the price) but was going to try it anyway. Seller says will not fit my 21' SR5 Tundra.

They should be the same as nothing is different with the 21 being the last year of the current body style. I would go with BumperShellz over ebay crap IMO.

 

Which bumpershellz match the center black of the bumper? Matte black or the paintable ABS?

Nothing is different between 20 and 21. But if you currently have chrome, there are some more parts you’ll need to mount color matched plastic caps. Sparks Toyota put a kit together for people to buy. So, you could buy the eBay kit and find the other parts from the Sparks link somewhere cheaper (try McGeorge Toyota or Lewis Toyota online). Then you’d have everything you need to put those eBay caps on your rear bumper

 

Are they truly worth 300 bucks? I'm on the fence on getting them because that's a lot for some stickers. How much do painted oem ones cost?

 

If you're talking about the front bumper, I think the TPO version is closest to the center section.

 

Bumpershellz aren't just stickers, they're molded plastic that is an exact fit to cover the existing chrome caps. They do use some 3M tape to hold them on, but also use the existing bolts around the bottom to hold them in place. Some folks have done the vinyl wrap thing with varying results.
Painted oem caps are easily 2-3x as much and require a whole lot more work to install.
