I have now a new-to-me 2013 Sequoia Limited with 142K miles, in almost mint condition. Full disclosure is that I may have erred ... I shopped Sequoia's hard after trying a long time to find a good "long road trip" vehicle: Navigators, Expeditions, Subs, Tahoes, Yukon Denali, and smaller vehicles GX460, Grand Cherokee... Seemed Sequoia was the best of a spotty bunch. At this point I'm not sure I will keep it. [Our 2 DDs are my 07 4Runner and her '13 RX350] Nonetheless, one thing that is really annoying is the lurching, mushy suspension. l don't know what these felt like new, but at 142K this one is too much rock&roll. We have rough uneven roads around here, and I have a weak spot for the occasional US Forest Service roads and Ski Maintenance roads, and a few old mining roads... I need an upgrade

So I see many people speak well of Tundra TRD OR oem coilovers [Red], while others wanting to build immediately remove them and let 'em go. Have any of you tried these on your Sequoia? I think there is a long ways to go before I would say "ok, this is way too stiff now".

    All advice greatly appreciated.

Why not visit a Toyota dealer and ask to test drive a new Sequoia and see if there’s a difference in how the suspension feels compared to yours?

the only toyota dealer nearby is possibly the worst one in the USA... same reason I haven't done two small recalls. I took it in to the service dept, an hour later I checked, they had not pulled it into the service area but had moved it, and had put a nice big hand greasy dark smudge on the passenger seat [leather] - then a lady tried to clean it up and left a bright spot in the leather. they have all sorts of hate reviews online
