interested in the dobinsons for sure. only looking at doing 2" up front on my 2014 DC. Looking to run 295/70 on the stock TRD 18 wheels. What is the weight of the coils? 600#? 700#? (dobinsonsdirect.com) doesn't indicate.

Thank you for the quick answers! I’ll check out Dobinson’s and stay tuned for any additional related posts, as I see bumping the thread has brought new attention and more questions.

I’m bummed about your install not coming through in time (not surprised though; seems that’s always the way). Have fun on your upcoming trip anyway; think how good you’ll feel, having run that trail without equipment other people need. :fingerscrossed: :D

I don't think they really release/mention spring rates. Instead, they tend to tell you that you'll get X amount of lift @ X amount of constant load.

Their US importer is a guy named Mike Tomczyk and he's very knowledeable and helpful. You could always send him an email: mike@dobinsonusa.com

Spent the last several days on Skyline and through White Rim. Stopped last night in Green River to stay in a hotel, sleep on a real (uncomfortable) bed, and resupply. Headed to Joe's Valley Reservoir for a couple days of camping and fishing before heading home.

Pulling a trailer over Murphy's Hogback and Hardscrabble is... interesting. Ill upload some video when I get home.

Dropping off at Agility Customs in West Jordan for regearing and ARB air locker installation today. Going with 4.88 gears. Installing the ECGS clamshell bushing as part of this upgrade too.

I've been ready for this since July, but had a hell of a time getting the parts in, and then coordinating with Agility to get in there at a time that worked for both of us. Really stoked to get this done!

Picked up from regearing on Monday. Feels amazing and responsive now! Went with 4.88 gears. I almost went 4.56 and I'm glad I went steeper. Feels great, rolls without gas again, doesn't take a lot of gas to get moving, much more get up and go than before.

Got a rear air locker installed as well. Briefly tested it and everything worked fine. Looking forward to getting out on the trails, but I'm swamped with work and school right now. =(

Ordered Dobinson's MRA front (extended travel) with C59-352B coils and back (long travel) with C59-701VB coils coilovers. Also ordered extended rear brake lines, extended rear Duro bump stops, Dobinson's adjustable panhard bar and rear trailing arms.

Front and rear coilovers/shocks/coils have all arrived. Brake lines are there too. Other suspension components and bump stops are still in the mail.

I'm in an MBA program and barely have time to sit down to poop right now... Having everything installed Saturday by a local ASE certified master Lexus/Toyota mechanic. He's higher up at the Lexus dealership he works at and is able to take the vehicle to his shop and do it there with all the Toyota specific gadgets. Pretty stocked to get everything done.

I'm taking the summer off of school and will wait to install the other suspension components until then.

Got the new Dobinson's MRA setup installed on Friday.

Hit some muddy trails around 5 Mile Pass on Saturday. Lots of washboard roads, this new suspension feels incredible on the pavement and off. I would argue that this is a better setup than the Fox suspension I have on my Tundra.

Updated OP to include some pictures and suspension changes.

Received my Timbren rear bump stops from @Toytec Lifts today. Thanks to Celeste for quickly answering my questions and to Toytec for the fast shipping.

I wanted over a month for Durobumps that never arrived. =(

    Got the new bumper installed.

Still waiting for my Diode Dynamics 30" amber light bar. Also had to order some cables to relocate my winch control box so neither are installed right now.

When I get the light bar (cables arrived last night) I'll take off the front shell, paint the hardware and that red panel you can see black, install all the stuff and put it back together. The bumper fitment isn't 100% perfect right now, but it's really close. I'll fix that during the reinstall as well.

Just ordered Toyo Open Country AT3s in 285/75r17

Dang things are hard to find right now - took a lot of calling around. I'll be selling these K02s with 90% tread left and < 8k miles soon if anyone is interested. 285/70r17 6 ply. ;)

Just going to a larger size, no 6 ply K02 in that size. I love the K02s but want to remain on a C load range tire. =(

Winch control box relocate to on top of the fuse box. Bumper installed. Lightbar installed. New Toyo Open Country AT3 285/75r17 installed.

    20210428_191658.jpg

Still in boxes waiting to be installed:

    Dobinsons adjustable panhard bar
    Dobinsons rear trailing arms
    Diff breather relocation kit
R1 brakes and rotors all around
    Timbren bumpstops

2 finals remain and the semester is over. Then I can get everything installed and go on 2 big adventures before fall. =(

Last night I cut the old sliders off the 4runner. I really liked this custom option, but its a pain keeping them rust free without the ability to remove them from the vehicle to maintain.

Cali Raised 20° sliders will go on tonight.

Got these DOM sliders from Caliraised. Coated beautifully by Amped Coatings in Tooele Utah. Been installed for a few days but just had the chance to go for a drive to make sure the front bumper isn't rubbing when working the suspension.
