iPhone 8 Message Synce

I recently installed a 2014 Entune nav system in my 2028 SR. Everything works just fine but I can’t get the text messages to come up on the screen in the truck. They did on the old screen which was a standard radio. Anyone know what setting to change on the nav system to get the messages to appear? Couldn’t find anything in the owners manual and,of course my dealer have no clue. TIA.

 

On the phone, go to the Bluetooth settings for the truck and turn on the notifications.

 

I did that. Still no messages.

 

You moved to an older head unit. Is it possible it need a software update, or that the message display wasn't a feature back in 2014?

 

I did an update on it. Maybe it wasn’t a feature back then. Good thought. I’ll check that out. Thanks.
